AGGREGATES AND ROCKS
Aggregates absolutely represent the main material used in the construction
field. That’s the reason why International
Standards require several and precise tests to check all aggregates’
features: aggregates should be object of a really accurate attention.
As well as for aggregates, rocks too need a special care: actually a
rock stratum can undergo different alterations. Especially when rocks
are exposed to excavations and handlings, it is really necessary a hard
study of intact rocks’ properties.
