The Windsor system aims to calculate the strength of hardened concrete: the method involves the penetration of a probe inside the material through a small controlled explosion. Based on the depth of penetration, it is possible to deduce the strength of the material. The advantage of using this method is that, being a non-destructive test, it allows to obtain precise results without damaging the functionality of the element being tested.
