Gyromec is an advanced electromechanical gyratory compactor designed to reproduce real-world compaction conditions during road paving. By ensuring precise and repeatable loading, it allows laboratories to determine the compaction properties of asphalt mixtures in full compliance with ASTM, EN, and AS standards.
Its versatility makes it suitable for routine quality control as well as research and product development.
Load application is managed by an electromechanical actuator with a load cell positioned directly on the vertical axis, ensuring maximum accuracy. The compactor can also perform automatic final flattening cycles at zero angle, producing specimens with perfectly perpendicular faces.
