Pressure Ageing Vessel is an instrument used to simulate in-service oxidative ageing that occurs in asphalt binders with over 5 to 10 years of service life.

Matest PAV is a stainless steel vertical pressure vessel which is CE and ASME certified to resist at a design pressure of 24.5 bar at 148 °C.

It has 3 operating modes - Fully Automatic, Semi-Automatic and Manual - and a fast pre-heating system to save time before starting the test.
