Unbound and hydraulically bound mixtures - Part 5: Test methods for laboratory reference density and water content - Vibrating table
This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the maximum dry density of cohesionless materials when compacted using a vibrating table. The method utilizes vibratory compaction to obtain maximum density under saturated condition. Materials for which this method is applicable may contain up to 12% by mass fines (< 0,063 mm). Maximum particle size of the materials to be tested is 80 mm.
