Tests for mechanical and physical properties of aggregates - Part 8 : determination of the polished stone value
This document describes the reference method used for initial type testing and in case of dispute to determine the polished stone value (PSV) of chippings used in road surfacings. For other purposes, in particular factory production control, other methods may be used provided that an appropriate correlation with the reference method has been established. Examples of advanced test methods are available in the bibliography.
