Methods of testing cement. Part 3: Determination of setting time and soundness.
This European standard describes the test methods for determining the standard consistence, setting time and soundness of cements. It applies to common cements and to those whose standard refers to this method. It cannot be applied to other types of cement that have, for example, a very short initial setting time. This method is used to assess whether the setting time and soundness of a cement comply with its specification.
