The standard specifies a test method which is an integral part of procedures described in UNI 8520-22 aimed at classification the potential alkali-reactivity of concrete aggregates. The revision aims to adapt the structure of the standard to the requirements of UNI 8520-22:2020, extending the application of test method to industrial and recycled aggregates and making the necessary procedural and editorial changes.
