B065 Rotary Evaporation Apparatus – Rotavapor

( Asphalt )

  • ASTM D5404
  • EN 12697-3

The Rotary Evaporation Apparatus (Rotavapor) is designed to recover bitumen from solvent solutions while preserving its original properties, ensuring accurate and repeatable testing results.
The system performs distillation under high vacuum, enabling the efficient separation of solvent and asphalt residue with minimal thermal alteration. Pressure can be finely regulated with a precision of ±0.1 kPa, fully compliant with EN 12697-3.

During operation, the rotating distillation flask is partially immersed in a heated oil bath, ensuring uniform temperature distribution. The controlled rotation—adjustable from 10 to 280 rpm—facilitates efficient evaporation and reduces testing time.

The apparatus integrates all key components required for the recovery process, including a 1000 ml distillation flask, solvent recovery flask, vertical condenser, and transparent flexible hoses. The rotating flask is set at a 15° angle for optimal performance.

A vacuum pump and vacuum regulation system are required to operate the unit (available as accessories).

Power supply: 230V 1ph 50-60Hz
Dimensions: 740x430x845(h) mm
Weight: 15 kg approx.
