The Matest Bitumen Content Furnace by Ignition Method provides precise determination of binder content in asphalt mixtures, a key property influencing pavement deformation, fatigue life, and moisture resistance. This makes it ideal for quality control, quality assurance, and research.

The furnace features an independently controlled afterburner with exhaust fan, reducing emissions, and advanced safety systems that deactivate heating if the door is opened. Operation is simplified through the Cyber Plus Progress 7’’ colour touch-screen with smart interface, allowing analysis of samples up to 5 kg, typically completed in 20–45 minutes.

The unit comes complete with sample baskets, safety guards, basket handle, calibration plate, printer paper rolls, and protective mask. Its robust design ensures reliable performance in laboratories worldwide, combining efficiency, safety, and compliance with international standards for asphalt testing.
