This Calorimeter is designed to determine the heat of hydration of low-heat Portland and hydraulic cements. The apparatus features a Dewar flask contained within insulated material, housed in a hinged wooden box for easy removal or replacement. A second hinged wooden box provides enhanced insulation, as required by EN and ASTM standards.
The calorimeter includes a constant-speed electric stirrer and filler funnel. The thermometer (digital models, see accessories) and propeller according to EN and ASTM standards are not included and must be ordered separately.
