The Charpy Pendulum Tester 300/150J is designed to evaluate the resilience of metals by measuring the energy absorbed during sample breakage. It is suitable for industrial production control, accredited laboratory material certification, and R&D in universities and research centers.
The pendulum arm is motorized for automatic positioning and release, ensuring high safety and reduced operation time. The aluminium and plexiglass safety cage complies with CE Safety Directive and includes a micro switch to allow testing only when the door is closed.
The machine base features a levelling plate to ensure correct pendulum alignment and specially shaped tongs for safe sample placement. A 7’’ touch screen display, PLC module with serial communication, and PC software enable test data acquisition, storage, and transfer (PC not included). The striking edge is compliant with EN standards; ASTM striking edges are available as an accessory (H062-03M).
