The Cone Dial Penetrometer is designed for precise measurement of penetration in construction materials. It features an aluminium base with levelling screws and spirit level, a chromed vertical rod with micrometric displacement, and a 150 mm dial gauge graduated 360° with 0.1 mm divisions.
The slider is made of brass with free-fall operation, stop and release push button, and automatic zero set. The stainless steel penetration cone measures 35 mm in length with a 30° angle and weighs 20 g. Two brass cups (Ø 55×35 mm and 70×45 mm) are included for testing.
