The sand density cone apparatus is used to determine the in-situ density of fine graned compacted soil and verify the degree of compaction.
The apparatus consists of:

• S234-05 Metal double cone assembly with valve, galvanized for rust protection
• S234-06 Metal base with rimmed centre hole for cone housing, galvanized 
• V121 N° 2 Plastic jar, 5 litre capacity

All parts can be purchased individually. The calibrating container is an accessory, to be ordered separately (S234-01).
