The Advanced Dynamic Shear Rheometer is the premium configuration of the Matest DSR line. It includes all features of the standard model B085-07N, enhanced with a double-sided temperature-measuring system that ensures unmatched thermal stability during testing. This guarantees highly accurate temperature control-essential for precise rheological characterization of asphalt binders.
The instrument also integrates an automated gap adjustment with 1 µm resolution, enabling perfect alignment between plates and ensuring reliable, repeatable measurements even in demanding research environments.
The Advanced DSR supports the full suite of EN, ASTM, and AASHTO compliant tests, enabling the analysis of viscoelastic properties, performance grading, dynamic viscosity, and binder behaviour after RTFO and PAV ageing. With the integrated software, users benefit from automated data acquisition, PASS/FAIL criteria, PG grading and guided test execution via the Bitumen Wizard.
