CBR–Marshall Machine 50 kN, 3-Speed

The CBR–Marshall 50 kN machine is a motorized load frame equipped with three fixed and selectable speed ranges, managed through a frequency changer (inverter) activated by an electric switch. This configuration ensures constant and reliable penetration rates for both CBR and Marshall procedures.

Available Speed Rates:

• 1.00 mm/min for CBR tests (Australian and former BS Standards)
• 1.27 mm/min for CBR tests
• 50.8 mm/min for Marshall tests

Designed for laboratory use, the frame ensures stable and repeatable loading conditions, supporting both soil and asphalt testing workflows. It is supplied without load ring and accessories, which must be ordered separately.

Additional Applications:
Models S212M and S213-05N can also perform tensile splitting tests (EN 12697-23, ASTM D6931, AASHTO T283) when equipped with the dedicated fixtures.
