DISTANCE PIECE, 50 mm high to test beams 100x100x400/500 mm
Used to reduce the vertical clearance between the compression platens, according to the height of the specimen to be tested, to avoid the ram to make its max. excursion (approx. 50-55 mm) without having compressed the specimen. The distance pieces are placed between the ram and the lower compression plate.
