Used to determine the in-situ density of fine-graned compacted soil.
The apparatus consists of: a sand pouring cylinder with a shutter made of cast aluminium and accurately machined, an upper cylinder, metal tray with a fixed centre hole for cone housing.

The kit is composed by:

• S236-05: Cone with valve and upper cylinder
• S236-06: Metal base with center hole
• S236-07: Calibrating container is an optional accessory
