The Matest Gyrotronic Superpave Gyratory Compactor reproduces real road compaction conditions, ensuring highly accurate evaluation of asphalt mix performance. Fully automatic, it combines rotational movement and vertical force, applied through a servo-controlled electro-pneumatic system for consistent and repeatable compaction.
A rigid steel frame guarantees excellent angle stability, while an eccentric high-precision system maintains a constant gyration angle. Height is continuously monitored by a linear transducer, and cold emulsified mixes can be tested using the dedicated perforated mould.
The compactor features an intuitive touch-screen interface, onboard data processing, extensive memory, USB/SD ports and remote diagnostics via LAN/Internet. Factory calibration ensures the internal angle meets ASTM and AASHTO requirements (1.16°).
Ideal for laboratories working on volumetric analysis and mechanical characterization of asphalt, supporting Superpave mix design with precision and reliability.
