The 4PB Four Point Bending System from Pavetest is a servo-pneumatic testing machine designed for the flexural testing of asphalt beams. Using digital control of a high-performance servo valve, the system provides precise loading waveforms up to 60 Hz in either haversine or sinusoidal mode.

This system allows testing in controlled strain or controlled stress mode, enabling accurate determination of flexural stiffness, modulus, and fatigue resistance for asphalt specimens of varying sizes.

The machine comprises:

B210-01: Servo-pneumatic Four Point Bending (4PB) Device with 10 mm actuator LVDT, ±5 kN load cell and 2 mm On-specimen LVDT
B209-08: 8 Channel Control and Data Acquisition System (CDAS2) and TestLab software
B270-12: Air Reservoir assembly with membrane dryer
