TriaxLab Automated Triaxial System

Matest TriaxLab is an advanced automated triaxial system designed for soil testing in educational, research, and construction engineering laboratories. The system minimizes manual intervention, ensuring high accuracy, repeatability, and safety.

The basic configuration of TriaxLab can be fully customized to meet specific laboratory requirements. Hardware components can be added or removed, all controlled via a closed-loop integrated system using the CDAS2 Control and Data Acquisition System and TestLab Software.

Pre-programmed Method Files allow operators to perform a wide range of tests without the need for computer programming, while customization options provide ultimate flexibility for specialized testing protocols.

The TriaxLab automated system consists of three main components:

  1. Load Frame and Triaxial Cell with Accessories
  2. Control System
    1. CDAS2 Control and Data Acquisition System
    2. TestLab Software controlled via PC
  3. Data Acquisition System
    1. 1xload cell for axial force
    2. 1xdisplacement transducer for axial displacement
    3. 2xpressure transducers for cell pressure and back pressure
    4. 1xpressure transducer for pore pressure
    5. 2xpressurematic sensors for pressure/volume change

This configuration ensures highly accurate and automated soil testing, from simple educational applications to complex research and engineering tests.
