The Matest 20-litre Laboratory Planetary Mixer is a robust device designed for precise mixing of bituminous and asphalt mixtures, ensuring homogeneous and uniform results through planetary action. The unit comes complete with a stainless-steel bowl and whisk, while beaters and electric heaters are optional.
Equipped with a variable speed drive, it offers 8 positions (50–150 rpm) for planetary action and 10 positions (180–540 rpm) for revolving action, giving full control over mixing consistency.
For optimal performance, the bowl should be preheated to the standard-specified temperature using a laboratory oven, with sample mixing performed immediately after heating. The optional Isomantle heater maintains the correct temperature during mixing.
