AGGREGATE CRUSHING VALUE

The Aggregate Crushing Value (ACV) test measures the resistance of aggregates to crushing under a gradually applied load. The procedure requires loading the sample within a defined time and up to a precise value, ensuring accurate determination of aggregate strength.

This test is performed using a Matest compression machine, which provides precise load control and compliance with international standards BS 812-110 and AS 1141.21. By using the proper equipment, laboratories can obtain reliable, repeatable results that are essential for quality control, material selection, and structural design.
