The Deflection on FRC Beams is designed to measure the toughness, first crack strength, and ductility of fibre-reinforced concrete (FRC).
The test is performed by applying a flexural load to the concrete beam in displacement control and with automatic deflection measurement of the loaded specimen.
By following ASTM C1609, C1018 and EN 14488-3 testing standards, the system ensures reliable data for engineers and researchers, supporting the design and verification of high-performance concrete structures.
The following items are required to perform a test on FRC, together with the Servo-Research control unit paired with a flexural testing machine.
